The Saint Paul Area Synod’s Tool Kit for Congregational Leaders and Conference Assemblies are held together on the same day, which is convenient especially for those who live away from the Metropolitan area. These events will be held on Saturday, February 22 at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in St. Paul. The event will kick off with community worship at 9 am, followed by Conference Assemblies (yearly business meetings of the six conferences that make up the synod), followed up by two sessions of the Tool Kit for Congregational Leaders at 11 am and 1:15 pm. Lunch is available at 12:15 (for a nominal fee).
The number of delegates for each congregation at the Conference Assemblies is determined by membership, and First Lutheran is allotted one voting member to join Pastor Scott in helping shape our North Conference business. Other North Conference members include: Immanuel in Almelund, Chisago Lake in Center City, Zion in Chisago City, Faith and Hosanna in Forest Lake, Fish Lake in Stark, Trinity in Lindstrom, Spring Lake and Trinity in North Branch, First in Rush City, Elim in Scandia, Calvary in Stanchfield, First in Taylors Falls, and Saint Paul in Wyoming.
If you are interested in serving as a delegate to the North Conference Assembly and/or the Synod Assembly in May, please contact Pastor Scott.
