Faithful Action in an Uncertain Time

The LORD will keep you from all harm—
will watch over your life.
The LORD will watch over your coming and going
both now and forevermore.
Psalm 121:7-8

As the world struggles to adapt to the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic,
it is helpful to be reminded that in the midst of fear and challenge, God is with us.

As a community of faith, First Lutheran in Harris is stepping into the
uncertainty by adapting our own practices and schedules
in order to help minimize the spread of the virus while being present
for our friends and neighbors.

So we have taken the following measures to do so:
We will worship online every Sunday at 9:30 and Wednesdays at 6:30.

Pastor Scott Simmons will be setting up online office hours via Zoom – an open time for prayer, song, conversation and connection. Check back for updates.

Of course, if there is a pastoral emergency, please contact Pastor Scott directly
